I think authenticity and spontaneity go hand in hand, significantly because they are an indicator of humanity. Spontaneous speakers usually appear on par with their listeners. No audience wants to feel like a speaker is superior to them and, anyone believing that they are superior to others is inherently wrong. No one has the power to label themselves as "better" than another person.
The relatability that comes from spontaneity, making mistakes, or even being unintentionally funny is what makes us feel like we can trust a speaker because at the end of the day all of these characteristics show humanity and that's who we want to listen to a human and not a machine.
